Shown are views of a pillar by the new back entrance, as well as the new arched entrance itself. Another view shows the expanse of the new section looking toward the rear handicap access area and showing the finished flat roof section, as well as some ductwork. The formerly growing landscape referred to above (the excavated mound of earth
covered with luxuriant vegetation) is finally being removed. Some landscaping
is beginning.

An additional wall has been built by the location of the upper lift. Also, the stairway
frameworks surrounding the lower lift location have been filled in with concrete. Lastly,
the famous hill outside is completely gone; the leveling has been completed.

The following pictures show work status on 11/14/06.
The railings for the front entrance and for the handicap access ramp have been installed.
A newly installed copper drainpipe can also be seen in the first picture. Additionally, the doors for the rear entrance and a casing for the corner support pillar in that area have been installed. The inside views show additional drywall installed in the large front open area of the new entrance way. Finally, the doors from the entrance way to the sanctuary have been hung, pending installation of hardware.

The first row of three pictures shows construction proceeding on the inside walls in the buildout's parking lot level and the church level. New metal studs, as well as insulation can be observed. Also "boxing" in of some of the heating system pipes can be observed in the third picture, which looks toward the church level front section of the buildout. The second row of four pictures shows framing of the handicap access lifts with metal and wooden studs. The first three pictures are of the lower lift showing the church level access, parking lot level access, and basement level access respectively. The last picture shows the church level access of the upper lift that goes to the parish hall level. Electric wiring can be observed in some of the pictures for the "call" buttons.

The project is really coming along!! The first picture is a view looking down from the parish hall level to the upper front buildout level toward the doors to the sanctuary. The second picture shows the almost completed drywall installation on the area above the opening to the front gathering area of the buildout. The remaining pictures show various views of the handicap access lift areas with the lift mechanisms located in their proper places!! Picture three shows the upper view of the lower lift. Drywall installation can be observed on the church-facing wall of the buildout's parking lot level area. Pictures four and five show lower views of the upper lift with the mechanism clearly visible. Pictures six and seven show lower views of the lower lift also with a clear visible view of the lift mechanism .

Pictures taken at various locations show some of the ceiling lighting in operation; one nearly completed bathroom can be observed, showing the fixtures and wall mounted steam heating; other pictures show a wall mounted steam heater near the entrance to the lower parking lot area and steam baseboard heating in this same area; a drinking fountain can be observed at the entrance to the bathroom area; a large sink and cabinet are shown in the meeting room area behind the upper front entrance area; the last picture shows the old front "breezeway" entrance doors removed and replaced with wall board which allows more usable area in the upper front entrance area.

[A Ribbon Cutting, Prayer Service, and Reception celebrating the facility is scheduled for 6/2/07 at 3:00 p.m. Special Congregational Dedication Services will be held on Sunday, 6/3/07 as part of our regular church services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.] Various views of the handicap access upper and lower lifts (which are now complete!) are shown. Also views of the completed interior, showing the various pieces of furniture in place, are shown. Additional views are present showing the lower lift in operation and also use of the handicap access ramp at the front entrance. Additionally, exterior views of the front and rear entrances are shown as well. Also included is a video showing the lift in use.
